A Dodge Brothers touring car attempts to drive up the steps of the old Oregon State Capitol Building in 1915. Accounts vary regarding who was in the car, but it appears that Dwight Mesener of the local Dodge agency was the driver. One account says he was just showing what the new Dodge could do, but others suspect it was a bet. The fun was stopped when it was discovered that the tires were damaging the steps.
